The actress Dia Mirza may not have made it big in Bollywood but she still has a huge fan following as she is one of the most beautiful actresses that the Hindi film industry has ever had. Needless to say, she has a very charming personality which can make people go crazy for her.
Recently, Dia took to the micro-blogging site Twitter in order to make a very important announcement related to her personal life. The actress and her husband Sahil Sangha have made up mind of separating after 11 years of togetherness.
A joint statement was issued by the couple in which they made their decision public. The couple also said that this is their mutual decision and they will remain friends forever. In addition, they asked the media and people to respect their privacy and at one fell swoop, made it clear that they would not be talking about this matter in the future.
Here’s what the announcement read:
“After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate.
We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other.
We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time.
We will not be commenting any further on this matter.
Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha.”

Dia and Sahil got married on October 18, 2014, but they knew each other since 2009 when Sahil narrated a script to her. They both are also business partners as they own a production house – Born FreeEntertainment. Sahil proposed to Dia when they were attending an awards function in New York.
Sadly, a beautiful partnership has come to end but we wish all the best to both of them for their bright future!
